MemoryTech Aligners® apply light and constant forces that guide teeth into proper alignment efficiently and comfortably.
The aligners deliver sustained force, known as Dynamic Precision Activation (DPA), which promotes smooth, gradual tooth movement. This gentle pressure activates cellular responses, ensuring effective and continuous orthodontic adjustments throughout the treatment. By maintaining a consistent force, MemoryTech Aligners® offer a more comfortable and efficient experience, leading to superior treatment outcomes.
Aligners made of conventional thermoplastic sheets generate an initial heavy force that strains the teeth, causing patient pain, and then rapidly drops below the appropriate force, resulting in an inability o maintain the tooth movement force and achieve the intended orthodontic result.
Heat Activation Technology leverages the advanced properties of memory shape resin to deliver superior orthodontic results. At normal body and oral temperatures, the aligner’s material is activated, returning to its original form and strength. This heat-responsive feature provides a gentle, continuous force throughout treatment that enhances both comfort and effectiveness.
Heat activation additionally allows for sterilization of the aligner, enabling patients to maintain their aligners in optimal condition and free from bacteria.
Customizable Thickness for Precision and Durability
Hype’s MemoryTech Aligner® produced via 3D printing offers customizable thickness, allows for tailored treatment plans based on each patient’s unique needs. Unlike thermoformed aligners, 3D printed aligners retain their desired thickness across the entire tooth surface which allows consistent force application and more accurate tooth movement. This level of precision ensures:
- Selective force application with customizable thickness locations in the aligner.
- Customizable ortho auxiliaries such as buttons, hooks, bite ramps, pressure points,
retention points. - Reduced marginal errors such as deformation in the fabrication process.

The thickness is uniform as designed, and the undercuts are fully joined thanks to Shape Memory.
