This wasn’t the first 3D comic I created, but it was the first “serious” one I tried to make.
My previous 3D comics were of a humorous nature, and I didn’t worry too much about the poses and the “look” of it. With The Life-Taker, I decided to try to create something I might read myself in fantasy magazine or something similar.
I don’t feel like I quite hit the mark I wanted to hit with this one, but I felt good about it when it was done.
Software used to create it is Daz Studio (version 3 at the time), Photoshop for postwork, and Illustrator to add in all the text.
