This one is another piece featuring the protagonist of a story I wrote called The Cold Elf, available for Kindle devices.
As I was working on another story (this time in a sci-fi setting), I decided to model one of the characters to use for promos. I didn’t think it would be too difficult, and yet it didn’t turn out as well as I’d hoped.
I’m not a huge fan of this character, but I came across a fully outfitted Power Girl costume while I was looking for Daz Studio compatible 3D props for another super-hero. It was so well done I decided to give it a shot, and you see the result above.
The Marvel Comics super-hero Nova is one of my favorite characters. I’ve done a ton of drawings, and yet I never felt I could do the character justice. This piece originally started as a study to get the helmet right, but I started playing around with it and came up with this final image.
